Big boys toys
Cruising around in the countryside of West Australia presents some challenges in the digital age. Internet coverage is not promoted as being a big thing in some areas and it is almost as though it is one of those secret handshake things. The Frenemy travelling outfit, hereafter referred to as mobile HQ has been outfitted with the essentials of life for two internet addicts.
Roo bars on the front also carry two aerials. One is for the mobile broadband router modem which gives us reasonable coverage wherever Telstra has Next G coverage. We got caught by promises of coverage by other Telcos but sadly they were full of shit.
Alongside the internet aerial is one for CB. Very handy tool to have when travelling as there is a lot of big equipment on the move. Channel 40 is the place to listen and when you here some one talking about big loads, get ready to move over. Just south of Dalwallinu this appeared. It was the first of two convoys of two trucks each. As they say might is right and we were not going to argue with something this size.
Someone somewhere has a lot of earth to move.
